Dear Parents & Families,

Reading is the most important skill you can teach a child.  Of all the skills children learn, it is the one you can influence the most.  Giving children access to great books and the opportunity to choose books will motivate them to read more.  And, like most acquired skills, the more children practice reading, the better they will get.

We, the Academy, invite you to visit our Scholastic Book Fair and experience a celebration of reading that provides families the opportunity to get involved in a a universal mission: encouraging children and young adults to read every day so they can lead better lives.

Book Fair Dates:  Monday, November 18 through Friday, November 22

Shopping Hours:  8:30 AM until 4:30 PM daily

We would especially love to see you on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 20TH when our Academy hosts Family Literacy Night. Between the hours of 4 PM and 8 PM you and your family may browse the Fair.  Special activities are being planned, and each will be advertised shortly as to type of activity and time.

We look forward to having you participate in our Fair, and remember, all purchases benefit the Liz Warner Love of Learning Library as well as individual classrooms.  Wish Lists will be available for each teacher!

beginning on Wednesday, November 13th.  Simply click on the Shop Now Button.  Online shopping is available until Tuesday, December 3.  At our Book fair's home page, you can create wish lists and invite friends and family to shop with e-Cards.  Best of all, purchases benefit our Academy's Library and classrooms.  All online orders ship for FREE to the school, after the Online Fair has ended.

Don't forget to look for your teacher's online Wish List and add a book or two to your order for their classroom library.  Click on the Classroom Wish List tab to see if your teacher is participating.
