My name is Miss Trish! I am a primary teacher at The Honors Academy of Literature. I received my bachelor’s degree from Western Governors University in Interdisciplinary Studies. I started at Honors Academy of Literature as a student teacher in 2019, and became a teacher right after I finished my student teaching with Ms. Chris. I am excited to teach Primary Gold this year. Outside of school hours, I like to spend my time training, competing and coaching Jiu-Jitsu. I have been training Jiu Jitsu since 2016. I absolutely love it. I also volunteer for a non-profit to help other females in Jiu Jitsu, which is a super cool experience. I get to travel to different cities to get to speak to girls interested in jiu jitsu and meet all sorts of new people. I try to get myself out of my comfort zone to grow as much as I can. Off of the mats, I like to spend days at the beach, reading, working out and trying new things. To get out of my comfort zone this year, I have started a new type of baking.
