As our Middle School Science Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to:
Develop and deliver engaging lessons in life science, physical science, and earth and space science for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.
Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages scientific inquiry and exploration.
Design and implement hands-on experiments and activities that bring scientific concepts to life.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall science curriculum and integrate cross-disciplinary learning opportunities.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in science education or related field
Valid teaching credential or certification for middle school science (or K-8 gen ed)
2+ years of experience teaching science at the middle school level (preferred not required)
Strong content knowledge in life, physical, and earth sciences
Passion for making science accessible and exciting for all students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning
What We Offer:
Competitive salary range: $45,000 - $85,000 based on experience and qualifications

Teacher Requirements:
Nevada or National Teacher Certification
Work or volunteer record that demonstrates a passion for teaching
Evidence of leadership skills
Has worked as a part of a collaborative team
Experience working with diverse populations
Familiarity with developmental instruction and differentiation
Familiarity with administering educational assessments, interpreting data, and adjusting instruction based on assessment results
Strong communication skills
Record of working effectively with all stakeholders, especially parents
Strong references who are familiar with your teaching abilities
