Birthday Book Club |
This program funds the Liz Warner Love of Learning Library.
|
This program supports the Liz Warner Love of Learning Library at the Academy. The program enables families who wish to celebrate their scholar's birthday to donate a new book(s) for the Library. Books purchased through this program bear an inscribed book plate which honors the scholar’s special day. The plate also displays a photo of your child holding the book(s)!
The library birthday book program will assist the Academy to build an outstanding collection of books and magazines. In addition, this program will allow families to become partners in establishing and sustaining a library that entices scholars to become avid readers. It is our hope that you will share this information with extended family members and get them involved in supporting your school's library. It is a great way to acknowledge your child's passion for reading with others.
Based on the needs of the Liz Warner Love of Learning Library and school's curriculum, ideas or recommendations for books or magazines may be made by our librarian Ms. Jen. Suggestions and special requests will be most welcomed. Both print and electronic forms are available so you can participate in this program.
Thank you for your support!

Champions does fundraising on behalf of The Honors Academy of Literature. The current fundraising need for the 2014-2015 school year is $45,000. To better serve the Academy, Champions would like to reach a goal of $60,000+. Fundraising is vital for the school to build a learning environment for scholars, as well as maintain the vision Ms. Andi and Ms. J-Lynn have created for The Honors Academy of Literature. Here is a list of fundraisers and what they directly benefit:
