Ms. Miranda Kimbrough
I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a B.S. in Elementary Education in 2012. This is my fourth year as a teacher at the Honors Academy of Literature. During this time, I have worked with levels first through eighth and have been the curriculum coordinator for 2nd and 5th grade. This year, I will be embracing the Interventionist role at HAL by working closely with classroom teachers to provide quality small group instruction. My leadership roles include: RTI (Response to Intervention) Coordinator, SPP Committee Member, and Gifted and Talented Lead.
I was born and raised in Southern Nevada. I became a traitor when I attended the University of Nevada, Reno and quickly fell in love with Northern Nevada’s history and culture. I am the oldest of five girls, a guilty Pinterest enthusiast, blog lover, and coffee fanatic. I love working with children, and I am passionate about my career.
