Ms. Liliana Igmen
My name is Ms. Brittany and I am excited to be working as a student teacher in Ms. Sherees’ 1st grade class this year! I have been involved with Honors Academy since 2015 when I started as a parent volunteer in Ms. Julies 3rd grade class. It was in this classroom that I developed a love for educating todays youth. I started at Western Governors University on a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Studies which has led me to this year’s role. I have also worked as a Gryphon Group leader and a guest teacher.
I grew up moving around California. My family settled here in Nevada during my senior year of high school. During the summer months, you can find me at any of our surrounding lakes camping and swimming with my daughter. During the winter, I like to spend my time reading fictional books and leaving the snow behind to visit the ocean.
I look forward to continuing to grow with Honors Academy staff, parents and students as we all face a new school year together.
